At the entrance there is no elevator, ramp or stairs as all entrances to the building are on the first floor which is completely flat.
Welcome desk is high up.
There are no ramps in the school as the school is all flat and no need for ramps.
The doors inside the school are both manual and motorized.
All Elevators are specious and all have letters in high relief. Some of them have sound announcements and some no sound at all.
There are no mobile-ramps or hoists as they are not needed, cars who drive people in wheelchair have that included. If needed the school would probably manage to get it.
Regarding animal assistance, the school hasn't got a requirement for that yet, but in case it would come up they would figure out how to work with that, they would I guess need to check with people who could be allergic to animals. But please check the rules as well about traveling with animals to Iceland as they are strict.
There are many toilets for disabled people and they are very spacious.
Parking spots are big and there are few parking spots for disabled people close to the school with easy access.
There is not audio for orientation inside the building.
The 1st floor has a line in the floor for blind people, it wasn't there but as soon as a blind person came to the school they just fixed that. The 2nd and the 3rd floor don't have a line like this though.
The school is really bright and easy to travel through as all corridors are spacious.
All steps have handrails.
Most of the classrooms have micro phonic installation and they all have a nice desk and the possibility to do a video conference.
As the school is really new all of the stuff is new, if something is needed the school will find a solution to your needs.
I talked to a person in a wheelchair and he said that he couldn't remember any troubles being in the school.
