Welcome Service Decription: 
A student must call to the office to register and meet with the Disability Officer or Learning Support Tutors’, evidence of disability is required, A LENS Report (Learning Educational Needs Summary) will be completed and the relevant disciplines notified. An induction is held with the students to give them a feel for the college and meet with other students registered with disability.

A mentoring event is held during the year and mentors have already signed up for the next year to provide support to students. Disability Awareness week was held in March which attracted groups from across the city and county to participate. A blue line is going through the city this is for students with mobility problems and gives easier access routes. The university offers social clubs and most of the clubs are organized by the students union.
