Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
The aim of this event was to aware international students on what a blind person daylife is like when having dinner. To do this, we put them a sleep mask and made them have dinner as a blind person would do.
Short description of the event:
Each international student prepared something for dinner and brought it to the event in order to share with other students. We (ESNERS) put them a sleep mask and helped them to take a seat. When they all were sat, we explained which is the aim of ExchangeAbility project and why did we choose to do this event. Then we (ESNERS) served them food and helped them to have dinner, saying where they could find the food and what was it. We also ordered drinks for them and served them. When the international students were done with dinner, we asked them how did they feel and if they found it difficult to have dinner without seeing.
How did your event go?:
It was very good. The international students had much fun and experienced how a blind person daylife is.
