Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
Make students understand what being blind mean: not to be able to see each other's while you're speaking with someone for the first time, not be able to watch what you're eating..
Short description of the event:
Aperitif and speed date all concluded with a mask on the eyes, to avoid that people can be influences by the aspects of the others. ESNers helped erasmus students to move between the people and the tables, we helped them to reach the other's to talk at the beginning, and then we organized a speed date, with turns of 3 minutes for knowing each other's but without seeing them. The purpose is to make them aware of what means not be able of seeing others but just listen to them, pay attention to what they say and concentrate to move in a space without the possibility to see it.
How did your event go?:
We had a great response from erasmus that came (more or less 90 people in all Milan, with the other sections), they enjoyed it and asked us to do that again.
