Goal of the event:
To aware students how people with disabilities such as lack of hearing, tasting, smelling or touching deal with. They realised that it is very difficult to live without some senses.
Short description of the event:
We had 10 boxes with some things inside (f.e. rice, bubble foil, fragnance, leaves). On each box there were icons with senses - participants had to choose the sense they wanted to find out what's inside the box. They had to have closed eyes while doing it. Everyone had 10 pieces of paper and different color of marker. They had to write their answer and put it into an envelope (every box had its own). Everyone had to hold their marker until the announcement of the results (that's how we knew who won). The person with the biggest amount of good answers wins.
How did your event go?:
It was the first event from this project in our section organised by me. It did well, promotion started in the right time. In Facebook event there were around 30 participants. For the next time should organise something to hide participant's eyes and better prizes.
