Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
The aims was to make Christmas decorations with old people with disabilities (cerebral) and make them participate and get involved. Also, to give them the opportunity to know a bit more about other countries.
Short description of the event:
We made Christmas balls, decorations, paperwork (trees, etc.). The Erasmus students also talked about their countries.
First, I went to the Residence to talk with them about if we could do any activity so that they could get involved with the Erasmus students. We thought about a Christmas workshop to make Christmas cards, small paper trees, stars and other typical craft decorations. We had a lot of colours so they all make wonderful creations. The Erasmus students were also very involved and they were so surprised about what they could do and all the questions they asked them about their countries.
How did your event go?:
Great! It was so interesting and the people really enjoyed doing all the handicrafts and knowing more about other countries. They had a great time and started getting into the Christmas atmosphere.
