Goal of the event:
Ester Bueno from the Fundación ONCE gave a speech that focused on the inclusion of people with disabilities in the educational and work environment as well as promoting their enjoyment of the Erasmus mobility program. She did this by informing about the various resources that exist which disabled people can benefit from, to get rid of the barriers and make mobility for all students more accessible to both able and non-able bodied alike.
Short description of the event:
The conference given by Foundation ONCE formed a part of the agenda of the I Jornadas of Mobility and inclusive Sport of the UV. We rely on Esther Bueno as referee. The activity was celebrated in the Assembly hall of the Fa ultad de Ciencias de la actividad Fisica y del Deporta of the Universidad de Valencia.
The . conference given by Fundacion ONCE was forming a part of the opening act. With the speech of the Dean of the Faculty of Sports (University of Valencia), the Director of the IRO (University of Valencia), the Director of the Service for the Inclusion of Disabled People (University of Valencia), the Representative of the ONCE Foundation and the local presidents of ESN en UV an ESN Valencia UPV.
How did your event go?:
This event has enlightened us as ESN coordinators as well as the students at our universities.
We know more about the resources and services that disabled people can use to make them more able to do tasks, which guarantees their full inclusion and equality in terms of both educational and work opportunities.
