  • Promote mobility
Goal of the event:
We wanted to show for foreign students how difficult it is to live a life without sight. They tried eating without sight because it is one of the most common activity in life.
Short description of the event:
ESNers prepared for foreign students desks with their name tags, cutlery, napkins and sleeping mask. When everybody was at their places, they put on sleeping mask over eyes. We have brought them food, and everyone started to ate dinner. After dinner they had one more task. They had to translate some words from Braille alphabet. After mastering this task, everyone got a sticker for participation at Dinner in the Dark. And of course at the end the Buddies also tried to eating without sight. We enjoyed a lot of fun and of course everybody realized how difficult it is to live without sight.
