Goal of the event:
This event had the main goal to raise awareness, regarding to people with invisual impairment. This way, the local Erasmus students felt during one dinner the difficulties of this disability.
Short description of the event:
This was a dinner organised in a local restaurant, on which the Erasmus students were blindfolded so they would feel the difficulties of a person with invisual impairment. The students didn't know what they were eating and some of them were helping each other due to the difficulties they had. After the dinner, there was a small briefing about how the students felt not being able to see what they were eating and the difficulties they've been through. It is an event we do regularly in Lisboa, since it is a huge success and we can introduce the ExchangeAblity project to them.
How did your event go?:
The event went very well, since there were a lot of students interested in attending the dinner and most of all, the message we wanted to spread was a great success!
