Goal of the event:
The main goal of the event was to show everyone besides that we can eat and enjoy with covered eyes, we are a team and we have to trust each other and work together to achieve success.
Short description of the event:
20th of March 2017 Budapest, President’s flat.
We simply started from the main door of our president’s flat. There were never the section members ever.
She asked everyone to bring some scarfs and together try to navigate to her flat, where everyone took their seats and started chatting. Everyone brought wine or beer what they opened and drink with covered eyes. The president was the chef and during the cooking she explained the section the main goal of this activity and what they should be paying attention to. While they were drinking and eating blindfolded, the president was interviewing them on how do they feel in that moment. During the whole activity, everyone needed to take care of each other and there was a big emphasis on trust as well.
8 participants (just 6 of them were blindfolded) enjoyed in this dinner and had a great time. After the dinner, we tried to come to a conclusion that raised awareness about people with disabilities.
After the dinner when they took off the scarfs everyone shared how they felt and what is their opinion about this event.
