Aim of the event:
  • Promote mobility
Goal of the event:
Down cafeyi we have shown that down syndrome is not a disease. Those people are very good and clean hearted people. We were very happy when we spent with them. Down cafe also had individuals with mental, autistic and down syndrome
Short description of the event:
We visited down café for exchangeability week. There are individuals with down syndrome, mental individuals and autistic individuals in this café. It was so beautiful to go down to the cafe and be there. The minutes I spent with the children with Down's syndrome gave me great happiness and serenity. It was very important for we to talk with them, learn about their lives, what they did in a day, and it is very important for me to have the opportunity to get to know them closely. The foods cooked and served by children with Down's syndrome were very nice. There are 3 people working there every day, and 50 people get paid from here. Volunteer mothers also work in this café. And games, music and dance with the people with Down syndrome outside the working hours of the café are available at these hours and there can be very nice time with the individuals with Down syndrome.
How did your event go?:
The event went well. Feedback from our participants is very good. We want to go for another time. We want to play when we go.
