Goal of the event:
It was aimed for the Erasmus to know more about the guys with Down Syndrome in our city, and how their lifes are in Granada.
We wanted to show how the Down is not a disability, and that this people can make a normal life if they have the correct help.
Short description of the event:
We arranged a meeting with Granadown, the association for Down Syndrome that is currently working in Granada.
We got 3 Erasmus students who explained more about their countries to the guys, which were Ukraine, Russia and USA.
Next to that, the guys proceeded to ask few questions that they had about the respective countries that they were showing. The Erasmus also asked some questions about the life of the guys in Granada.
We all discovered new things about life in countries different from our, and also we learned how a down syndrome guy can handle their problems with the correct help.
How did your event go?:
It was a great opportunity for the Erasmus to know more about Down Syndrome, and also for the guys to know more about the Erasmus experience and about other countries.
