Goal of the event:
To raise awareness for everyone with autism and to support the “Light It Up Blue” (LIUB) campaign of the organization called Autism Speaks. To make the erasmus students and esners have the knowledge of autism.
Short description of the event:
We asked from the erasmus students who are studying in Istanbul Technical University to wear blue and hold a paper which “light it up blue” written on it (in English or in their mother language) and take a picture of theirselves. Also we want from the esners for a photo of them wearing blue and holding a paper which “light it up blue” (both English and Turkish) written on it. And we did one meeting of our esn club with all of us wearİng blue and took a photo of us. After we collected all the photos from people, we made a video to spread the campaign.
How did your event go?:
It went well, many erasmus students and esners liked the idea and send their photos of wearing blue to support the campaign.
