Goal of the event:
The purpose of this event was to learn the basics of Turkish Sign Language, raise awareness and make ESN accessible. In this purpose, we had a sign language course and got information about it.
Short description of the event:
As ESN Trabzon, we decided to make a project about Turkish Sign Language and so we arranged a short course of sign language. All the members and ESNers were invited to the course and in this purpose, we all met up in the meeting point. The sign language teacher Mücella Arslan who is actually an ESNer, gave basic information about Turkish Sign Language and taught the basic words. During the course, we took photos to post on our social media pages and in the end, we recorded a video to make a gif. It was a great event to raise awareness and make ESN accessible.
How did your event go?:
It had gone very well. Everything was totally amazing.
