Goal of the event: 
We wanted to talk about the difficulties of visual impairment in our daily life. The subject was cooking. We wanted to explain the difficulties that people with visual impairments had when they were cooking. We have had difficulties in this process and have been aware of the difficulties they have experienced.
Short description of the event: 
Firstly, in order to do activity we talked to gastronomy department of our school and we asked about their schedule. Then we went to gastronomy kitchen and entered empty class. We had told them that we would make cookies when our eyes were not open and asked them for ingredients. Then we prepared the ingredients and a student whose major is gastronomy told us how to bake it. We organised the tables, put on our gloves and tied our eyes. We started to handle difficulties with like that. We tried to realize ingredients by touching and arranged quantities of them. That was the hardest part for us. We all were waiting what was it like excitingly. After that we put all these ingredients and mixed them. Then we untied our eyes and saw the dough. We couldn't arrange the quantities of ingredients therefore we couldn't bake it. Lastly we collected our things and finished our activity. The aim of this activity was, to understand how the sight disabled people feel and what are the difficulties when they are cooking and also to create awareness for them. At the end of the activity, we have understood their feelings.
