Goal of the event:
Raise awareness about the hearing impaired people. To reach people who are not disable about hearing and try to want them to learn sign language to communicate with hearing impaired people.
Short description of the event:
You can communicate easily with other even if they speak another language. What about the people who cannot communicate with voice?
Here some facts about the people who are hearing impaired
-Over 90% of deaf children are born to hearing parents
-14% of those ages 45-64 have some type of hearing loss
-15% of children between the ages of 6-19 have a measurable hearing loss in at least one ear.
-2 out of 3 people over 75 have a hearing loss
-People with hearing loss wait an average of 7 years before seeking help.
-A mild hearing loss can cause a child to miss as much as 50% of classroom discussion.
How did your event go?:
It was so tiring but it went well we reached our purpose lots of people now want to learn sign language and try to communicate with hearing impaired people.
