Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
  • Mapping
Goal of the event:
Our goal was to check if the city is accessible for people with disabilities. In particular, we checked the buildings, in first place. We also wanted to involve students in that event, to raise awareness to them too.
Short description of the event:
We met all together in a central road of the capital city. We gave to the students, check lists that we had created before and explained to them what they had to do. The check lists included questions related to the buildings. It was better at first, to check the city based on the buildings because, the place that we had choose to check, was a street full of markets, shops, bar, cafes etc. We worked all together, since we weren't many people to split into groups. The students used one check list each time for each building and at the end, we collected the check list so we can have the final results. That was a draft of the Mapping.
How did your event go?:
Even if we weren't a lot of people, the students were really motivated and into what they were doing.
