Description
Aim of the event:
  • Mapping
Goal of the event:
The goal of the event was to contribute to the flagship project of ESN and try to see how accessible our campus is. We would like to help the incoming full degree or Erasmus students who may have disabilities so it would be easier for them to discover how accessible our buildings are.
Short description of the event:
So the section wanted to organise some events for the ExchangeAbility week, therefore, the ESNers went to map the buildings around the campus. We want to help our (maybe) future incoming students with disabilities also to raise awareness how hard it would be to for a student to join our university. We started with the first building and went through almost all located at the campus. We had the exercise well described during NEP by Pablo and Thomas and we also did a mapping activity led by our NR, Bianka during the National Platform some days before the EA week. It was a nice experience also we were a bit sad because our campus is totally not accessible at all. :(
How did your event go?:
As it was mentioned, the event itself was good, but realising how not accessible our campus is , that was a bit sad.
