Goal of the event:
Since before the ExchangeAbility Week the accessibility of the universities in Hungary was not assessed, we decided to map our campuses within the cooperation of the sections of Hungary, named Semmelweis, ELTE, SZIE, IBS, Corvinus, NUPS and Miskolc.
Short description of the event:
On the first ExchangeAbility Week ever, we join to the section of Budapest and we mapped our universit at Miskolc. During these activities the ESNers and our exchange students had the chance to discover our universities through the eyes of the students with any kind of disability. Why was it useful? We ourselves got information of how accessible are our campuses, what we can forward to the universities and international offices, to initiate the improvement of the buildings. Furthermore with our universities mapped, foreign students with disabilities can reach information easier on MappED.eu about doing an exchange at Miskolc.
