Goal of the event:
The goal of the event was to make ESN and ExchangeAbility known to the University. And to raise as many bottle cups as we could so that we can get a wheelchair.
Short description of the event:
Movie nights are a very entertaining way for someone to educate himself. A very fun way to let students know what ESN is and of course what ExchangeAbility stands for was to show "Intouchables", as it shows a lot about people with disabilities (and what they go through phycological and physical). Not only was it interesting seeing what the protagonists' daily life was but it was more interesting seeing many sides of reactions of people near him. And what better way to raise awareness than to have students pay their entrance with four bottlecups, so that the local will be able to get a wheelchair way sooner than determined for someone who needs it badly.
How did your event go?:
Iit went well, the feedback from the participants was really nice. Everyone was excited with the choice of the movie and with the entrance. They asked us to do this every month, that's why we are considering it. The thing that we could improve is finding a sponsor and being able to offer free popcorn and having a good camera for taking pictures of our event.
