Goal of the event:
To raise awareness about dissabilities by visiting a completely accessible museum , with a sensorial exposition and art made by people with dissabilities. By promoting this type of art we wanted and raise awareness.
Short description of the event:
The event was done in a museum of FONCE which is the foundation of the national organization of spanish blind people (ONCE). In the FONCE museum anyone can enjoy since the art that is exposed can be touched and is made so that blind people can have the same art experience as the rest. We had a guide that explained us what the organization works for and that took us through the museum explaining us the different parts of it. One of the rooms of the exposition of the museum had models of international buildings and monuments. The erasmus could touch them and try to guess wich ones they were with the eyes closed. The afternoon ended with a late snack where we could discuss what they enjoyed the most from the museum.
How did your event go?:
Erasmus liked it and it was a good and different experience.
