Goal of the event:
The goal of this event was to raise awareness in the Erasmus student. It wasn't just normal painting, they had to do it without using their hands. It was a chance to make them think about themselves, about their life and others, because there are a lot of people who are not able to use both hands.
Short description of the event:
Crayons, paints, water and two sheets of paper were prepared for students who joined event. Just nine people came to dormitory's hall. I told them about main reason of this event .They had to face with topic: ,,My Erasmus in Wrocław". They paintings which showed city and their feelings connected with Erasmus exchange were welcomed. The main problem for them was how to do it without using hands. At the beginning they were a bit confused and it took few minutes to start painting. All of them decided to use their mouths to hold paintbrushes. They were divided into two teams and created two amazing paintings. One team made painting which showed the most important places in Wrocław and the second one did some abstract. They ,,cheeted'' a bit because it was so hard to open paints and do some cleaning without using hands. They enjoyed doing it and had great time.
How did your event go?:
It was really great experience for them and me. ,,WOW'' that's how I can describe effect of their work. At the beginning they thought that it was impossible to paint without hands for people without dissability but they did it! The only thing that dissapoined me a bit was a number of students taking part in it but I hope next time more people join us.
