Goal of the event:
The goal was to map the Superior School of Education, of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, in order to become aware of how accessible this school is for people with any kind of disabilities.
Short description of the event:
The activity consisted of mapping the Superior School of Education, the third school of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco that is now mapped in order to find how accessible this school is for people with any type of disabilities by using the MappEd app to make this information be online and accessible for anyone, anywhere,
In order to do the mapping the participating Erasmus accessed the mapped.eu website in his smart phone and then we walked around the school answering the questions in the app.
With this mapping we are now closer to having all the schools of our Polytechnic Institute mapped.
How did your event go?:
The activity went pretty well once our Erasmus was very interested in this app and decided to map his own school in Turkey with the information he already knew for sure and then update the it when he goes back to his country
