Goal of the event:
The goal of the event is to make international students aware of which difficulties can find the deaf when they have to communicate with other people and how they do it.
Short description of the event:
First of all the international students came to a classroom in the university where the workshop was going to be done. To begin with, we (ESN) explained which the aim of ExchangeAbility project is and why we decided to do an event like that one. Then, we started with the workshop, we made an introduction to the Spanish sign language. First, the international students were taught the Spanish sing language alphabet and how does it work. Later, we made some games with words and sentences in order to make the participants practice what they have learned and also we made them spell their names in Spanish sing language.
How did your event go?:
The workshop was good. The international students had fun and learned some basic things about Spanish sign language.
