Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
The people who came to the tapas were challenged to eat and drink everything with a mask on their eyes, so they couldn´t see what was being served or eaten.
Short description of the event:
We booked a bar where we brought the Erasmus, and we gave them masks to cover their eyes. By then, we proceeded to serve them some drinks and food, so they had to try and guess what were they trying.
During the activity, we were helping and encouraging them to taste everything they could, and to realise if there were some differences between eating with or without blindness.
In general, they all concluded that living with a disability is something we all should understand, and I think they all realised that, in the future, they would do more for blind people.
How did your event go?:
There were almost 20 Erasmus coming to the event, so we consideer it was a really good opportunity for them to see how difficult is to live with a disability, and also to know more about the ExchangeAbility project.
