Goal of the event:
The purpose of our activity is to raise awareness of the Spinal Cord Felthers. To show the difficulty of people for their illnesses. We have seen that their illnesses are not a problem for their business life.
Short description of the event:
First of all, we have contacted the members of the association that we will perform our activity. Later, when we went to the assembly, they welcomed us with a nice and we started to visit the association immediately. There is a different activity in each room in the building. In addition, nearly all of these activities involve people with spinal cord injury. The Association is also able to provide financial benefits to itself through these activities. Inside there are textile department, printing on glass, project rooms, resting area and library. The association also develops joint projects with schools or companies. They had a meeting for an important project when we got there. One of the most important projects of the company is the pet bottle lid collection project. The project provides the opportunity to buy 1 cordless chair with 3 tons cover. From the foundation of the association, it has distributed about 1700 cordless chairs from day to day. In addition, vocational training is provided for disabled citizens in the association. Thus, citizens with disabilities can have a more comfortable profession.
