Goal of the event:
We want to know about people who have down syndrome and how they feel about life.Thus, we went to down cafe and we ordered some stuff. By the way, down cafe's all waiters has down syndrome and it is a normal cafe. Their purpose is to raise awareness.
Short description of the event:
First of all, we went to down cafe and we were welcomed very well. They were very friendly and talkative people from my point of view. We talked and discussed a lot of things such as education, life, animals, art and books.We played jenga and we did puzzles with waiters for a couple of hours. By the way, the chef cooked something with the waiter and the food was very delicious.A waiter singed a song for us. I think, she is talented to music because she has a very nice voice. to sum up, we had a nice time with some nice people. We are planning to go there again in the future.
How did your event go?:
it was really nice to spend time with those people and after our visit, we realized that they are not disabled people they are just a little bit different from us which is a good thing; variation.
