Goal of the event:
The meaning of the activity is based on the awareness of society on the barriers to disability. Awareness of the personal strength of people with disabilities. Encourage and support the involvement and monitoring of sports for people with disabilities.
Short description of the event:
We picked up a group of erasmus to take them to a wheelchair basketball game, so we had to take the various means of transport to the sports center Juan de la Cierva in Getafe, we were waiting for a game of basketball in a wheelchair. During the wheelchair game we were able to enjoy different moments of improvement of the players. We could also take pictures with the players, who were players of the Paraolimpico team of the Spanish team, who had won in the last Paralympics a silver medal.
We could also take a photo with the basketball player of the Spanish national team, who also supports this type of activities with disabilities. The teams were the CD Ilunion and BSR Getafe.
How did your event go?:
Esta actividad fue muy gratificante, ya que pudieron participar todas aquellas personas que vinieron sin tener que pagar, y además pudieron ver un partido de Liga de baloncesto importante. Fue organizado por una compañera de ESN que tenía el contacto de uno de los jugadores.
