Description
Aim of the event:
  • Raise Awareness
Goal of the event:
At this event, we aimed to understand the people who cannot use their hands (like celebral palsy) and tried to write or draw something about "ESN Marmara" and "Erasmus in Turkey".
Short description of the event:
At this event, we impressed by the book which is "My Left Foot". My Left Foot is the 1954 autobiography of Christy Brown, who was born with cerebral palsy on June 5, 1932 in Dublin, Ireland. As one of 13 surviving children, Brown went on to be an author, painter and poet. We had cardboards and pens. We taped two cardboards for two topics to the wall to make it more simple for people. Afterwards, we gave them pen, and they tried to express their feelings about "ESN Marmara" and "Erasmus in Turkey". All of them used their mouth and they couldn't find any way to handle with this problem in that moment.
How did your event go?:
It went well and people enjoyed to participate this event. They said, "It was really hard to do it.". Next time, we can change our topics.
