Goal of the event:
On the occasion of our EcoWeekend organized by SocialErasmus we contacted the hostel where we spent the weekend and commented that that weekend we would share the shelter with an association of people with intellectual disabilities which opened up a wide range of possibilities for us Carry out activities with them.
Short description of the event:
"We had prepared an outdoor activity with the young people of the association but the day woke up rainy so we opted to make a cultural exchange with the erasmus and the guys from the association.
One by one they alternated the erasmus and the lads of the association were coming, saying where they were, because they had chosen Madrid to study and opened a round of questions.
The exchange of experiences on both sides was very enriching because
Our Erasmus were very interested in learning about the activities they carried out in the association of people with disabilities and these in turn "" flipped "" to talk and meet young people from all over the world.
At the end of this activity, we made a workshop of simple t-shirt dye in which with three cubes of water and dye of different colors we dyed white t-shirts knotted with rubber bands and strings.
In this activity did not participate all young people with disabilities because some had a fairly high degree of disability and their monitors preferred not to participate.

How did your event go?:
"The feedback from the Erasmus was quite good, almost all the attendees are students of psychology, social education or medicine so they were very interested and really motivated this joint activity.
The feedback from the association with which we performed the activity was INCREDIBLE we have proposed to do more activities with them, go to visit their school workshop and make weekend outings with them. "
