Goal of the event:
Everyday activities like walking up the stairs or simple tasks like finding keys and unlocking doors can be extremely challenging for the disabled, so to get a sense of what they are going through in their daily lives, we did this event.

We are halfway through the ExchangeAbility Week and we are here with our Eyes-Shut Challenge!
Tactile paving and elevators with voice outputs are highly helpful to make visually impaired individuals’ lives considerably easy, but does everything go smoothly with the aid of these technologies? Everyday activities like walking up the stairs or simple tasks like finding keys and unlocking doors can be extremely challenging for the disabled, so to get a sense of what they are going through in their daily lives, we tried to complete these tasks with our eyes blindfolded. The results undoubtedly forced us to stop, think and empathize with the people without eyesight.
