Goal of the event:
For the second activity of the ExchangeAbility Week, we decided to contribute to a project that is being practiced throughout Europe: MapAbility.
MapAbility is a project founded in 2013 which aims to map out the accessibility of the HEIs (Higher Education Institutes) for the students with special needs and disabilities. By testing how equipped these HEIs are for accommodating the individuals with special needs, we are getting a chance to compare our institutions with the ones across Europe and be aware of where we stand regarding the inclusion of the disabled students in the society, and if needed, improve them
Short description of the event:
For the second activity of the ExchangeAbility Week, we decided to contribute to a project that is being practiced throughout Europe: MapAbility.
MapAbility is a project founded in 2013 which aims to map out the accessibility of the HEIs (Higher Education Institutes) for the students with special needs and disabilities. By testing how equipped these HEIs are for accommodating the individuals with special needs, we are getting a chance to compare our institutions with the ones across Europe and be aware of where we stand regarding the inclusion of the disabled students in the society, and if needed, improve them. We are also attracting notice to the importance of the student mobility, a crucial point for the unity and interaction of all individuals in the community.
How did your event go?:
