Goal of the event:
With this event We tried to raise awareness for the visually disabled. We wanted to show to others that people who are visually disabled can draw pictures just like people who do not have a visual disability.
Short description of the event:
We went to a cafe which works with disabled people to raise awareness. We went there and did an event called Draw in the Dark. In this event we blindfolded ourselves and tried to draw some pictures. We first tried to write our names after that we tried to draw some fish and at the end we decided to draw landscape pictures. After we were done with the drawing we looked at the pictures we drew, and discussed what kind of hardship we had while drawing these pictures and if the event was enjoyable and if it helped us to understand how it feels to draw or write something without any vision.
How did your event go?:
This event was a lot of fun. All of the participants were very excited to attend this event. In my opinion this event went pretty well. I got a lot of good feedbacks from the participants. They really enjoyed the event.
