Goal of the event:
The event date was the same date of "World Down Syndrome Day" and we would like to make an awareness about Down Syndrome and we decided to do as a photo challenge.
Short description of the event:
On the World Down Syndrome Day, we wanted to raise awareness on the subject. As we saw this kind of event on this website (https://worlddownsyndromeday.org/lots-of-socks) we wanted to join them in a different way as #321challenge hashtag Project on our instagram account. With that, we wanted people to search themselves individually about the Down Syndrome, because they were trying to find a connection between the socks and down sydnrome idea together. But actually we wanted to give them something that causes people to stop and think about someone with Down syndrome’s life, get information about them and reflect their careness by showing off their different coloured socks.
How did your event go?:
It was a good way to make an awareness. To wear colorful socks and people striked different poses then each other. Feedback was positive because between the pictures, there was a harmony. Next time, we can move one step forward, get together and take one picture with our different kind of socks or we can try to find another way to make an awareness in different way.
