Goal of the event:
To take advantage of the ExchangeAbility Week to do a workshop of senses with the children of the project of voluntary work that ralizan semanalment the erasmus.
To learn specific vocabulary on the senses.
Short description of the event:
Every week some erasmus participate in one volunteer programe with kids for teach english, usually they prepare some activities acording the season or typical party, these week we do one activity about ExchangeAbilty and spring, because it was the firsr day of spring. The participants of the workshop are of a low neighborhood and they are between 5 and 8 years old.
They explain 5 sense and then they did one activity each sense acordin to spring:
- Smell workshop: smell differents flowers
- Tast workshop: eat typicals fruits, like strawberries
- Hearing workshop: listen and recognize sounds of animals
- Tact workshop: touch flowers and fruits
And also they learn the vocabulary
How did your event go?:
We prepared the material and we explain the actitvity to our volunteers for do with the kids. They practice and enjoy during tha activity
