Goal of the event:
To show students how hard is to live when you can not hear, how complicated to educate children when you can not hear and how hard is to study, work and live in the comunity of healthy people
Short description of the event:
We met in our office, prepared healthy snack for Erasmus students and wait for them. Than we watched two documents "My deaf parents" and "Young and deaf: Dean's story" about deaf people and their family lives. The documents were really interesting. One was about CODA kids - Children of Deaf Adults and their camp - where they can meet other CODA kids, enjoy time with them and get to know how other kids with deaf parets live and the other document was about young man Dean and his lifestory. Both of them were really mooving. After the movie we had short discussion about it and than we went home.
How did your event go?:
It went well, but there were only three Erasmus students - so this was quite bad, but we enjoyed it anyway.
